At least 105 Indians among 384 travellers reported missing in Bhote Koshi flood

At least 105 Indian nationals and 37 non-resident Indians (NRIs) are among 384 tourists and travellers preliminarily reported missing following Wednesday morning’s flash flood in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa, according to the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).

Damage caused by the flood at Central Prison, Nuwakot, located in Khampakyamp, Bidur Municipality–6. The flood, which hit the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa on Wednesday, damaged the administrative building and the Nepal Police security unit building, while the prison itself was partially affected. Inmates have been relocated to safer blocks.
