Nepali Embassy to mark 55th anniv of Sino-Nepal ties

BEIJING: The Nepali Embassy in China is going to organise a welcome programme on Monday to mark the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and China, according to the embassy.
The function will be organising on Monday with support from the Chinese People's Association and Nepal- China Friendship Association.
Though tomorrow marks the establishment day of Nepal-China diplomatic relations, the function has been scheduled for Monday, as tomorrow is the public holiday in China.
High-ranking Chinese government officials, officials of the friendship association, Nepali community in China, diplomats from different countries and journalists have been invited to the function, said the embassy based in Beijing.
Earlier too, a function called 'Ambar Gurung Paleti Sanjh' was also held one and half month ago to observe the Day.
The diplomatic relations between Nepal and China was established on August 1, 1955.
