KATHMANDU: The meeting of central office bearers of Unified CPN Maoist held at the party headquarters on Thursday finalised the written commitment regarding the issues raised by the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF).

"We have prepared the document and the party would provide it to the front as soon as possible," said Narayankaji Shrestha 'Prakash', Maoist vice-chairman following the meeting. The document includes point-wise clarifications of the party's opinion regarding the front's demands.

Shrestha said his party would make the document public after consulting with the UDMF leaders. "We can also make it public before the meeting with the UDMF if the meeting could not happen today," he said.

Maoists have already clarified that they were not in a position to agree upon some of the Front's demands including commitment to pluralism, one Madhesh province, group entry of Madhesh-origin people in the Nepali Army and time frame for the army integration.
