BHAKTAPUR: The Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) is taking action against the higher secondary schools that have announced admission without receiving its affiliation.
Some higher secondary schools have announced admission after submitting applications for affiliation, but are yet to receive affiliation from the HSEB.
The HSEB affiliation branch said the board could stop granting affiliation to those schools in the Kathmandu Valley and in districts who have announced admission without its affiliation.
The HSEB has taken a hard line on the colleges after they, without following its policy, law and standard governing affiliation process, announced admission thinking that they will surely get affiliation later and put future of students in uncertainty.
We are monitoring as to find the number of colleges running without the HSEB affiliation, said monitoring section chief Jeet Bahadur Chauhand.
