 Promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship
 

KATHMANDU: Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum is organising NIMBUS Young Entrepreneurs Summit (YES) 2012 on August 16 and 17 to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship by following its vision of empowering positive business thinking. A platform for young entrepreneurs from all over Nepal to visit, network, learn, share, progress and become better entrepreneurs, the main theme of NIMBUS YES 2012 is ‘Entrepreneurship: Engine of the nation’.

The event will attempt to highlight the private sector as the engine that drives the nation forward and that progress and prosperity of a nation can only be achieved by promoting entrepreneurship and creating a conducive environment for entrepreneurship. The theme of

first day will be ‘Inspire’, where successful entrepreneurs will not only share their inspirational stories, but new, exciting and inno-vative business ventures and ideas will also be showcased. The theme for the second day will be ‘Keeping it real’, where a series of events

designed to give the participants a clear picture of the business scenario in Nepal will be highlighted and also provide insight into successfully conducting business endeavours in Nepal and beyond. These events will include forum discussions, workshop style presentations and a series of concurrent sessions on various topics. The summit will have one keynote speaker from India to portray the message that there are plenty of opport-unities for growth in Nepal.

NIMBUS is the title sponsor of the two-day event, while it is being co-organised by Confederation of Nepalese Industries - Young Entrepreneur Forum (CNI-YEF), Entrepreneurs for Nepal (E4N), Association of Youth Organisations Nepal (AYON) and Samriddhi Foundation.
