Aimed at promoting Nepali products and services

KATHMANDU: With an aim to create awareness and give value to the Nepal made products

and services, Nepal Young Entrepreneurs Forum (NYEF) is organising ‘Made in Nepal Product and Service Exhibition-2012’ from September 6 to 9, 2012 at the exhibition hall, Bhrikutimandap.

Anuj Kumar Shrestha, coordinator of programme, says, “Though the products of international standards are being manufactured in Nepal, people are not buying them due to lack of awareness and knowledge. Hence, we are giving a platform to Nepali manufacturers to showcase their products and services.”

Samir Thapa, vice president of NYEF, says, “We’re planning to include manufacturing and service companies from film and music industry, handicrafts, tourism, et cetera from all over the country to promote Nepali brands.” Thapa further adds, “If people start buying and loving Nepali products, it will motivate the entrepreneurs and boost the whole national economy. For this, the exhibition will help in creating awareness.” The organisers are confident that this exhibition — its third episode being organised in management

coordination with Direction Nepal Pvt Ltd — will garner even greater success than the previous ones. The entrance to the exhibition that will house 150 stalls will be free, as per the organisers.
