remembering my my past i still view myself playing hide and seek with my cousins. well my home was not a one which had lots of place to hide and we used to use just 2 rooms to play. If u are the seeker u could be sure to find someone or the other behind the curtains and behind the door. but still the game was as interesting as could be.wow! that is called childhood!

We often see parents complaining with their children about their behavior regarding playing . Nowadays children are usually seen struck with computer and video games .This is all those product of modern achievement in science and technology which daily consumption is done by this generation but children's more enhancement toward this equipment has result in lower their interest in outdoor games. While talking about sports and mainly about outdoor games i often recall a game that i used to play in childhood.I used to play kabaddi with my chums in our society playground. We used to gather there after 5 pm and make boundarys and seprate all of us in two groups and play for a whole hour. My mom used to come there to call me to come back home but she always forget all things and join in our games ,support by hooting us . This is all what i mostly like about my childhood. While recalling the book of history of mine I always feel that enjoyment and exictment that i used to get while playing kabaddi. Today when my little brothers and sisters are busy in internet world i encourages them to come out and see the real meaning of games in nature's environment and hope this will be continue...

At times when our crying was silenced by dolls in our hand, todays children crying is silenced by a beeming or music on mobiles or a game on laptops. So, I believe the parents are more responsible for indulging their children into the slavery of technology and gifting them thick glasses at an early stage instead of good physique.I believe Football, swimming and some physical training will benefit the children for staying fit and healthier.Even Minstery of education should take efforts in implementing health education and training as a regular and compulsory course till higher secondary schooling as seen in many countries like China, Taiwan.Lets make our child healthier to make our nation healthy.

It is no good that Kids opting to kill their leisure has been changed with the change of time. Though computer or video games or other entertainment indoors are better in sharpening the brain and safe way to kill the time, giving the time only to such games will definitely push the kids into unhealthy and unsocial scenes. I remember my childhood playing soccer, marbles, top. I suggest the current kids to choose for any kind of outdoor games because of the fact that unlike indoors, outdoors provide the scope for physical fitness, teamwork, gregarious response and acute brain as well.

childhood days were the best days of my life that i had ever experience.those days was so much freaking and wonderful. i used to joined with my fiends and seniors in our play ground during our holidays time.my friends used to took me from my home early in the morning.i still remember,i used to be whole day in the ground without having meal.Back at home,i used to lied my mother saying i was at my friends house and i had already had my meal.we used to play football and cricket the most.we used to play the match with the various other team in the town which had really helped me to to maintain brotherhood with the other team mates.for today's kids,i will recommend them to play football or cricket as this outdoor game has gaining popularity day by day.not only this, these type of game will really help them to energize and build up their body.more importantly social relationship which is the prime concern in recent days will drive them in the correct path in the days to come.

I was lucky to have been grown up by "Dhai Ama" who narrated stories of fairies and made beautiful dolls out of fancy cloth pieces. It not only helped me and my group of siblings to use our creativity to fantasize but also enhanced the bond of love and togetherness. We understood the essence of working in a team to collect and create a masterpiece of fabric.Do children have time for such imagination? They have the image of Cindrella imprinted in their minds. They are often secluded and isolated with their individual game with the computers ,and hence there is no room their overall development. They are part of this supersonic age of dot com and too materialized.

In today's generation its good to hear that children are showing there keen interest in newly advanced technologies like computer or video games or other entertainment indoor games but on the other side it is very harmful as it affects their health. In today's generation both science and nature acts like a sides of a coin so children should also prefer to go and play outside for sometime and also should use computer for some time. Suddenly i flashed back to my childhood and i remember that at our time also technologies were developing and there was also the use of computers but not excessively. So in my childhood i used to play hide and seek, used to paint the natural scenes a lot and also used to play on computer but not in haphazard way as today's kids used it. Yes i obviously suggest kids to play the games in computer and video games but i also advised kids to go and play outside in the natural environment so that your both health and mind will be healthy and will always live their life happily and healthy because healthy minds exists long and can develop the nation properly.

This era has become the time of technology. Everything has become so fast and we as humans have been so dependent on the machines. We have also been so busy in our lives that we hardly have time for our loved ones. We can't really blame the kids for not playing outdoors and being glued to the video games. Things have changed and we need to accept it cause that is the only thing that's going to be constant. The best is if a child can balance between both outdoor activities and similarly an adult needs to take professional life and social life hand in hand. And if we are really talking about the running around the house, games like Hide and seek, Dog and the bone, Who's falls in the water first, Kho kho, skipping, handball. And then there are all the sports like basketball, badminton, volleyball, football. Its so much fun playing and there is so much the kids can learn. Team play, Sportsmanship, Friendly attitude and ofcourse the tricks of the play. An hour of playing a sport energizes and is a great start for the day !!

No man is rich enough to buy back hisher past again. Children should be provided opportunity to enjoy this period of time (i.e. childhood). The present time is the era of science and technology. Everyone is dazzled by its advancement. Besides other outdoor games or other entertainment children prefer to stick with the computers and other electronic devices. Even I want children to do so because everyone should move according how this modern era is moving. Since, we can also learn a lot of things from the games too. In one point of angle it is also a good source to acquire knowledge.

Question

We lament today that our kids do not play enough outside. They are either stuck with computer or video games or other entertainment indoors. What game comes to your mind when you think of your childhood and would you want kids today to play that game? Why? Give reasons.
