we all firmly believe honesty is the best policy. being honest always is not a great idea. the time and situation of daily schedule do demands to keep aside honesty and go for lies. we all have faced many times we had to lie just the shake of self and others. but it doesnt mean we should blindly run behind lies and completely forget honesty. honesty is too important because lie can never defeat truth. relationship always seeks truth n honesty. one day of lie can ruin everything. its not bad to twist the truth as per situation but we should never be late to unfold the reality when appropriate favors.

I don't think there is something like truth or lie. In case of me, I react according to the situation. I also don't think that anyone can maintain hundred percent honesty. When we are living it is sure that we make mistakes. However, it becomes difficult to admit all the time. We cannot say about the lust we get or the infatuation we fall in to our parents. If we say also then we may not say about our sex life. White lie is something that does not hurt someone. Although I do not believe in hundred percent honesty, I try to respect others feelings. I believe in the lie that saves others feelings rather than the truth that kills others.

Doubtless, honesty is the best policy.If you are honest everyone trust you and your judgement will be appreciated by everyone.It comes with the person of right intent.Honesty is the backbone of any professionalism.For instance, if you are a teacher, an element of honesty must exists in your teaching to add quality in the field of education.The feel of being honest with your work upgrades yourself and the quality of work.Honesty is the medium to lead a life of virtue.Being honest with other doesn't satisfy the need of being honest.Truly, if you want to be an honest, be honest with yourself first,then after situation doesn't demands your mere honesty but you are yourself valuable to the situation.White lies are just the part a family or social life that should not carry any wrong intent and should not be of deceptive nature.However if white lies are made to deceive someone that carry immorality is certainly going to harm the policy of being an honest.The basic objective of being honest is to preserve the value of truth and protect the interests of public at large.

Being truth in every cases may invite trouble sometimes . It may also hurt the listener so we can manipulate the truth so that listener might feel comfortable to deal with however the gist must be the same . It is the ability of the speaker to convince the listener by interlinking the truth with a story so that listener might not be enraged or fall into grief for instance if the dr. has to reveal the death of his/her patient it depends on his ability how to console the kith & kin of the deceased so that they can accept it . Sometimes it is good to hide the truth for sometimes waiting for the better situation to reveal the truth .

I guess truth is not always deserving.We should move according to situation.If a lie makes someone happy we should go for it.But while doing so we should observe it's consequences too.

I also believe everybody has to live their life with honesty. But on the otherside we human beings have some basic instincts that will not let us to be too honest in some situation forcing us to handle the situation with some so called white lies. That is not a wrong idea either because white lies are meant have some extra flavor in the situation. In my views being honest is not only about being honest for show off and thats not honesty at all. Honesty in its true sense can be experienced only if you cannot hurt anyone or destroy relationship. later on after when the situation is handled properly one can calmly make clear about the situation, that would have been got complex due to one`s job of being honest. So honesty is all about how much sense you use to deal a topic, without disturbing the basic frame of the topic.

yeah it's said that honesty is best policy and it is too....but in some cases we tell s lie.but that doesn't mean we are dishonest...if we can control any worse situation by it then it's good..but if we do tell a lie we ourselves have to tell the truth and admit our fault..we may be scolded or even beaten(in serious ones) but we know it was for everyone's good... :)

we shouldnot forget that this is KALYUG.this is a age of competetion where everyone is trying to lag and lead you either by hook or by crook.if u reterieted your stand in favour of being honest at any circumstances then i think you are not made for kalyug. you wont survive. i strongly believe "survival is the fittest" which is a rule of the jungle that is equally applicable to my life also.but at the same time as a human being humiliating and tormenting others emotions and sentiments,my conscience donot allow me. so i have to work in balance way where as i have to understand the situation and circumstances and act accordingly and ensure that a little dishonesty from my side donot hurt others ego.

The situation sometimes happens. People will be deviate to assist weather to be on positive side or just instead of that. However, whatever the situation will be and what would be its causes; one should also able to forecast the future relation with them would be. It's hard to say me that honesty is the best policy as myself sometime stand aside of this. As far as I am concerned, though I prefer to be honest, situation and my intimate sometimes compelled me to bypass this term. Eventually, I have to consider the further relationship and indeed of them. Last week I was in the same situation as one of my best friend broken the chair of our classroom. For that case I am the exact proof, however I refused to blame him while teacher asked who the person was. Ultimately, in some case, sitting instead of the field of honesty will be the necessity due to the internal and external circumstances.

It is true that honesty is the best policy. Today, we see many things around us which are not honest. Many persons are dishonest. Dishonesty may shine for some time. It may earn money, power and men. But all this is for a short time. Honesty is courageous, dishonesty is a coward. Honesty is bound to shine after the night of dishonesty. There is no place for dishonest people on the earth. They lose the battle in the end. An honest person only can win a place in the hearts of people. Double-faced men get temporary response but they are thrown out of people's hearts..sometimes people accept “white lies” when situation arises, even if they usually do not like lying,but i think if such lies can makes our sorrounding happy then it is not bad to lie but if we makes its habit then in future there will be bad result of it in our life. Based on this, parents can help us resolve life problems, and we build a strong familial relationship with them. For example, lying or omitting the truth towards our parents, leads us getting in trouble or even in life threatening situations. Sometimes might be too late for them to help us, even if they try hard to do as much as possible to get us out of the problems. Besides, lies lead to other lies at sooner or latter we will be discovered. Consequently, parents may lose their trust in us, and they will doubt almost everything we are going to do or to say for a long time, even if they will continue to love us no matter what. Dishonesty cannot face the reality. It has to say hundred lies to hide one act of dishonesty. Therefore honesty is the best policy
