Providing quality education depends on many factors. The negligence of students, their parents, teachers and the over all education committees are solely responsible for this disappointing result. If such authorized bodies are not serious about it, the pass percentage tends to be in decreasing trend in the coming year as well. As far as we are concerned, the education committees are only strengthening on part of supervision during S.L.C times rather than improving in any other sides. If such authorized body is only focusing on this, I think nothing can be done to improve the result. In my view to make more of the students pass the examination, all the responsible bodies should be serious about it. Beside this, I think the educational bodies should also focus on hidden problem like why most of the students having Nepali as second language drop school at primary level and if they continue till S.L.C, why do they failed in exam. In my view quality education does not only mean strengthening the education part but it also refers right of every student to learn and grow with their own mother tongue. As Nepal is multilingual country, I think it’s very important for our government to realize the need of language and integrate with education system. Many of other countries have researched in it and found the better result; wouldn’t it be possible for our government to try out new plans and a policy to strengthen the educational system.
