Question

It is a common practice among most Nepali families to ill-treat their domestic helps, who are not allowed a weekly day off nor attend family events. They forced to work beyond their capacity any time of the day or night. Despite being educated and well aware of labour and human rights, the 'masters' do not hesitate to mistreat their helps. Many even treat their pet dogs better. How can we as neighbours, tenants, landlords or friends and families help such people see the cruelty of their deeds and help them treat their helps better? Do you think it is possible to change such people?
