Some people are so determined and start their own business .Eventually plunge into ground of success by turning many dirt daunt into opportunity.Such are the people who are rare and lesson to others. This kind of the people also care and mind about self esteem more then anybody. They are the model for others like us to get what we want from this temporary and dare life. This kind of the people are the true epitome of success. When I listen and read of the bio of these people it really gives me the strength to strive towards perfection and success. The story of their life truly propel a dieing man on the bed.So I prefer this character in my life than the other one. The other one is not quite bad for living a life in harmony. But sometimes it can like hammering a nail into your flesh. Moreover you can be blamed for the things if they don't go right. The harsh words of the boss can lead many kinds of serious consequences. If you are not good enough or there is a glitch in the work you have the probability of getting fired.During the crisis and still many people lose their job in cases like these and i don't blame both the employee and employer. My own experiences says that doing things on your own is better than working under the supervision of others. If you are the leader of your own you are more careful for performing the task as it is your whether you make profit or loss. So i chosen to do things on my own even the good companies offer good salary and reputation. The reputation you build is more worth than the reputation that you gain working under other.

Dear Sir/Madam, Himalayan Times I have read the Himalayan Times today. After reading This Week's Question, I can't stop writing my views in this topic. So, I have expressed my views regarding the concerned topic. In my Opinion, self employed business is more better than working in renowned companies and getting paid by others. It's so because when we work in any company, whether we reach the top position, we are kwown by company's name but if we start our own business then individual's name comes initially & that organisation is known by that individual's name.Similarly, it's a liberty to start own business. Most of the qualified, knowledgeable & experienced person gets a good job in renowned company but it is not sure that every such person can start a business succesfully, it needs courage, ability to take a right decision at right time, a perfect strategy, strong determination, confidence, tackling power, ability to adapt according to dynamic environment to start own business successfully. With regards Sanyukta Amatya

We can have a long debate over this agenda but one think is sure that in Nepal, its a environment where only job holders in renowned company or government employment is tipped to be living better life style. As it goes like " khoji lau pahile Sarkari Jagira". We should definetly come out of this evil thoughts & should encourage the enterpreneurship development. This will result in invention of new products/ ideas/ services in first place & generating more employment opportunites in second place. As country like Nepal is having huge trade deficit this will certaily help to minimize the deficit. Having said that it doesn't mean that people should discourage to be employed in industries as it also need good manpower and lack of manpower may cost the industry sector. Now, its the government vision how to approach to these two sector and maintain the balance for the betterment of country's welfare. Right now if you ask me which one you prefer, its definetly job in renowned company as I have only choice left.

Generally, we see most of the people engage the job, unlikely to be self-employed, offered by someone. Only few people seem to have started their own business at their first try. On the part of many it seems that they first join the job, gain ideas and experiences and start to run their own business. By puting their hands in an occupation and establishing own company in the related field seems a better idea. It of course creates the experiences and ideas required to make a start on business. It makes one feel confident, qualified and comfortable while runing the company. For me, this has been a perfect idea to build the career. I am prefering to start a business which I have been engaging in at present. My idea is not to remain an employee in renowned company but to establish the same after gathering a series of experiences as a job-holder in the same field. Anjan Gurung Sydney, Australia

hello, I prefer to start my own business because there will be liberty to run it as I wish and I won't be under anyone's order, and in this way I can help more people. I need not have to ask anyone's permission or beg in front of them.

as we know that many people dreams to be self dependent by getting job to renowned company but i prefer to those who want to be self employed because those self employed people will be able to create new ideas and technique by ordering others they would have right to give orders but those people of renowned company only have to fulfill the demand of their seniors.though they have less capacity to think about new ideas and technique to develop their business.

Though getting a job or to own business depends up on personal choices, environmental circumstances and skills. In My opinion, self employment is better than getting paid by others. Business ownership can be the most rewarding experience of life if taken under the right circumstances and at the right time. Independent working style, power to rule and lead other peoples, chances of creating unsurmountable profits and position by a single idea are the major points which persuade everyone to start their own business. On the other hand, getting paid is good for those who don't have money to invest and who don't have ideas to start own business. Its a harsh reality with salary they receive (if not involved in illegal and illicit side business and corruption) hardly a few people manage sophisticated life. Its better if people start their career by jobs, learn many business tips and tricks and start their own business later. This can reduce the chances of business failure and opportunities of better growth. Finally, Self employment is best option for those who dream and have the passion to make dream come true. Whether trying to settle oneself in a renowned company or starting own business, both requires hard work, knowledge, experience and continual efforts. If one posses all those quality then there's no need to worry about standing on one's two feet. However, if you do have these qualities in you why not start your own business? It might be difficult to start one's business and it requires capital for it. But you can do it if you got the strong will cause there remains a difference when you work for others and when you'll own one. Therefore, i prefer starting a company of my own and contribute my efforts to my company and establish my own name than working for some other companies and be known just because of the renowned company...

Many people dream of getting good jobs in renowned companies to get settled in life while there are others who prefer to be self employed. They prefer to start their own company/business thus creating employment opportunities for others. Both help in making one stand on one's two feet. Which of the two options do you prefer, and why?
