It’s so human to get motivated when we you have a small pat on your back from your boss or you are praised with some nice words for what you have done at work. A motivated employee has definitely some extra fire to do good for the company in comparison to an employee who has never been appreciated for the works done so far. I completely agree that the reward of appreciation is the psychological treatment for employees’ welfare. It not only bridges the communication gap between employer and employee but also heightens the quality of work to be performed.
In the present scenario of work culture, we can say that level of appreciating employees is not so common. We can be optimistic though as we have been knowing that some companies are awarding employees with a title of the best employee of the month and the timely trainings and feedback sessions are being popular these days in Nepalese organizations as well.
The paradigm of today’s management is changing and it is more tilted towards human management as the most valuable resource is human resource and timely appreciation can be the catalyst for optimum efficiency and deliverables.
