ITAHARI: Rajendra Tamang, 19, of Sunsari’s Hansposha VDC was found dead on Friday morning, said Area Police Office, Itahari. According to the police, Tamang had gone to the roof of the house to sleep on Thursday night, but was found dead in the morning. Further probe into the incident is underway, police said.

Accident claims one
MAHENDRANAGAR: Bhawani Singh Dhami, 26, of Bhimdutta Municipality died on Thursday evening after the motorcycle he was riding on collided with another motorcycle from the opposite direction in Kanchanpur’s Mahendranagar-Gaddachowki road section. Meanwhile, injured Ganesh Bahadur Bam and Dipendra of Bhimdutta Municipality have been taken to India for further treatment, said DSP Birsha Bahadur Rawa at District Police Office.
Rabid dog menace
KALIKOT: People in two VDCs in Kalikot are living under the fear of rabid dogs. Three people have fallen ill in Lalu and Malkot VDCs after they were bitten by rabid dogs roaming freely in the area. Even cattle in the VDCs have fallen ill after being bitten by stray dogs. The District Livestock Service Office said it has already dispatched the anti-rabies vaccines to the affected areas.
