KATHMANDU: Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Nepal (MJF-N) Chairperson Upendra Yadav has accused the leaders of major three political parties and Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairperson of being reluctant to frame the new constitution.

At a press meet organised here on Wednesday, Yadav alleged that the three political parties' leaders and the Speaker have lied to the people by saying that 80 per cent of the constitution drafting has been completed.

Calling for the promulgation of constitution through the CA by best utilising the time within May 27, he said the CA tenure extended by the Supreme Court (SC) last time could not be prolonged anymore but there is an alternative to extend the term by six month on condition of state of emergency enforced by the government.

He also warned of launching a strong agitation if the constitution guaranteeing federalism, democratic values and identity was not promulgated.
