Woman injured after father-in-law hits with brick

KATHMANDU: A man has been arrested on charge of physically assaulting and injuring his daughter-in-law from Gairigaun, Ichangunarayan on the outskirts of Kathmandu on Tuesday.
According to police, 45-year-old Bude Nagarkoti hit his daughter-in-law Sunita on her head with a brick following a domestic dispute at around 9:45 this morning.
The 26-year-old has sustained injuries on her head. She was rushed to the Balaju-based Janamaitri Hospital for treatment. Her condition is said stable.
Police said they are looking into the case.
