DAMAK: A woman died after a wild elephant attacked her in Pathari VDC of Morang district on Monday morning.

“A local Keshar Maya Rai, 50, died in the elephant trample at 5 a.m. today,” informed Area Police Office, Pathari.

Menwhile, wild tuskers demolished two houses in Lakhanpur VDC in Jhapa district last night.

Police said no human casualty was reported in Jhapa.

Only on Thursda,y three women had lost their lives, after they fell prey to the herd of wild tuskers, in Prithivi Nagar of Jhapa district.
