KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has decided to mobilize the party cadres up to the ward level from the three districts in the Kathmandu Valley for the preparation of the joint protest which is due to organise on June 8 in the capital.
An internal meeting of the party held Sunday called the youths, students, workers, journalists, professionals, writers, artists, intellects, women, Dalit, landless squatters, and all people of the capital city to protest the unconstitutional move of the Maoist-led government.
The meeting was attended by Secretary Yuvraj Gyawali, central committee members Krishna Gopal Shrestha, Binod Shrestha, Yogesh Bhattarai, Bhanubhakta Dhakal, Dr Bijay Paudel and others.
19 political parties including the Nepali Congress and the UML are jointly organising a protest programme against the unconstitutional move of the Maoists to dissolve the CA.
