KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has decided to organise the national gathering of party cadres on June 18 and 19 in the Capital to discuss on the issues relating to the dissolution of the Constituent Assembly and increasing intra-party disputes.
The Central Committee meeting of the party on Saturday took a decision to this effect.
Talking to journalists emerging from the meeting in mid-session, party senior leader Bhim Rawal said the national gathering is expected to review the latest political developments in the country, intra-party conflict within the CPN-UML, and the party's activities since its eighth general convention.
It may be noted that some of the party leaders from the ethnic community including party Vice Chairman Ashok Rai have expressed dissatisfactions with the party leadership stating that it refused to adopt federalism along with ethnic identity.
The CC meeting of the UML is said to be underway.
