SURUNGA: Two children have died after falling into a pit made following extraction of mud for making bricks in Chakchaki of Jhapa on Sunday.
Asarashapul, the 10-year-old son of Mohammad Hussein of Bihar, India and Chanda Raya, the six-year-old son of Nirmal Raya of Kuchbihar, India died after they were buried in the pit, police said.
The two had accompanied their parents working at the Pragati Brick Factory at Chakchaki-7.
