Nepalbandh: Troubleshooter asks troublemakers to lift off trouble

KATHMANDU: Government has urged the bandh enforcers --Brahmin and Chhetri communities to lift off the Nepal bandh enforced since Thursday morning demanding government not to adopt ethnicity-based federalism.
In the meeting between the government and the representatives from the side of Brahmin Chhetri joint Struggle Committee, which has kicked off at Peace and Reconstruction Ministry in Singha Durbar on Friday afternoon, government has asked the agitators to withdraw their nationwide shutdown at the earliest and relieve the nation of the strike whose effects have crippled life in all the districts across the country.
