BHAIRAHAWA: Top leaders of three Madhes based parties have voiced their opposition to the CA term extension in the present situation.
Speaking at a press-meet organised here, chairmen of Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum-Loktantrik(MJF-L), Terai Madhes Loktantrik Party (TMDP) and Sadbhawan Party(SP) said that the extension of CA term without conluding the peace procrss is irrational.
Chairman of MJF-L, Bijaya Gachhadar accused the ruling UCPN-Maoist and CPN-UML of acting against peace and constitution wrting processes.
Terming the incumment government a ’historial failure’, he also demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Jhlanath Khanal.
Chairman of TDMP Mahanta Thakur stressed need of consensus government in order to conclude the constitution and peace processes.
On the occasion, chairman of SP Rajendra Mahato challenged the government to complete its earlier commitments of peace and constitution within the May 28 deadline.
