KATHMANDU: Top leaders of major four political parties have convened at the Secretariat of Army Integration Special Committee on Tuesday afternoon in an attempt to give the final touch to the process of formation of Chief Justice-led election government.
The meeting is expected to mull over the draft prepared by the taskforce on political consensus and removal of constitutional hurdles to ensure CJ-led government.
A meeting of four forces— the UCPN-Maoist, Nepali Congress (NC), CPN-UML and United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) held on Monday evening had entrusted the political taskforce to settle down the draft for removal of constitutional hurdles addressing the CJ Khil Raj Regmi’s dissatisfaction.
It is learnt that CJ Regmi in a meeting with top guns of four parties, had expressed dissatisfaction over couple of issues including political mechanism above the government.
Political parties have already agreed on all contentious issues except the rank determination of former Maoist combatants.
