BARA: Three persons lost their lives in separate road accidents in Bara district today, police said.

Mukti Paswan (20) of Jitpur died when the tractor he was travelling was hit by a bus heading to Janakpur from Kathmandu near the Dudhaura River along east-west Lok Marg’s Pathlaiya-Nijgadh road section today.

Deceased Paswan was employed as a helper in the tractor. Paswan breathed his last when he was being rushed to the hospital in Birgunj, said Mid-regional Traffic Police Office, Pathlaiya.

Similarly, Man Maya Rai (21) of Sindhuli died when the motorcycle in which she was a pillion rider met with an accident at Jhapa’s Buttabari on Sunday night. Critically injured Man Maya’s husband Raj Kumar (24) who was also the pillion rider and the motorcycle rider Dil Bahadur Karki are receiving treatment at Neuro Hospital.

In another accident, Anup Rai (5) of Khalle, died when he was hit by a tractor in Khotang headquarters Diktel’s Old Bank Chowk today. Deceased Anup was on the way to school when he was killed by the tractor.
