KATHMANDU: The meeting of the taskforce formed by the three big political parties to seek a way out of the protracted political condition of the country was deferred on Thursday. Following the failure of the task force meeting the meeting of the leaders of big three political parties has also been postponed. The meetings of the task force and leaders of big three parties have been rescheduled to Friday.
It has also been reported that the meeting of the task force that comprises Dev Gurung, UCPN-Maoist, Yubaraj Gyawali, UML and Arjun Narsingh KC, Nepali Congress was postponed as KC, member from NC, failed to turn up. KC was replaced by another NC leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula in today’s meeting.
The task force was reactivated through a meeting of the three big parties on Wednesday. The task force was expected to come up with the content of the resolution motion that is agreeable to all the parties. The final draft of the resolution motion prepared by the task force will be further discussed in the meeting of the senior leaders of the three big parties.
