PYUTHAN: Master Plan of Sworgadwari, situated in Pyuthan district of western Nepal, prepared for making the historical and religious tourism site more attractive place to visit is still in limbo.
The master plan is in limbo right after it was prepared three years ago by the government of Nepal, Department of Town Development and Building Construction and Physical Infrastructure Development Project and was not implemented.
The Master Plan prepared for the tourism infrastructure development of Sworgadwari Ashram was to be implemented on the occasion of the Tourism Year-2011.
A 15-year Master Plan was prepared to carry out works in three phases with an investment of Rs 340.9 million.
According to member of the Ashram Management Committee, Mukti Prasad Sharma, the master Plan is in limbo before its implementation as the government did not allocate the budget with priority.
