Damaged equipments were two mixer machines‚ one transformer‚ two computers‚ one printer‚ one television and three telephone sets.

KAKADBHITTA: Radio broadcast has been shut down after storm and lightning caused damage to two FMs run in Jhapa district.


The broadcast was closed after electrical appliances were damaged in the lightning Thursday morning at Nagarik FM in Bhadrapur.


Damaged equipments were two mixer machines, one transformer, two computers, one printer, one television and three telephone sets.


According to FM News Editor Gopal Giri, damage amounted to Rs. 800,000.
