GORKHA: A son allegedly killed his own mother attacking her with a spade in Ashrang VDC-6 of the district.
The deceased has been identified as a 64-year old Tika Maya Kunwar.
A minor altercation at the home on Monday morning culminated the tragedy when the mother got a bang on the head from her 32-year old son Ramchandra Kunwar, according to District Police Office, Gorkha.
Police has detained Ramchandra at District Police Office, Gorkha, while the dead body has been kept at Gorkha hospital for autopsy.
Ramchandra is the only son of the deceased, informed locals.
The deceased was suffering from paralysis and was bed-ridden for the past four years.
