Seven districts in Tarai affected from snake-bite are Dhanusha‚ Sindhuli‚ Mahottari‚ Sarlahi‚ Rautahat‚ Bara and Parsa.

HETAUDA: Anti-snake venom and vaccines which are used for the treatment of snake-bite patients were handed over to the concerned public health offices.


According to the Regional Medical Store, Hetauda, seven districts in Tarai affected from snake-bite are Dhanusha, Sindhuli, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara and Parsa.


Chief of the store, Raman Jha, told RSS that anti-snake venom and vaccines were provided as per the demand of the concerned health offices to carry out treatment of snake-bite victims smoothly at the earliest.


The Department of Health Services, Kathmandu, had provided the vaccines and anti-snake venom to the Store.
