Among those arrested during today's bandh‚ three were from Khasi Bazaar‚ two from Lainchaur and one from Balaju of Kathmandu and another from Satdobato‚ Lalitpur.

KATHMANDU: Police on Wednesday evening said that altogether eight vehicles have been vandalised and seven vandals arrested across the country during today’s general strike called by various student unions and youth bodies.

Among those arrested during today’s bandh, three were from Khasi Bazaar, two from Lainchaur and one from Balaju of Kathmandu and another from Satdobato, Lalitpur.

During today’s shutdown, bandh organisers had vandalised a taxi in Chabahil, Kathmandu, a bus in Satdobato, Lalitpur, a van in Sanobyasi, and a truck in Jagati, Bhaktapur.

Similarly, three trucks in Dhanusha, a bus in Sindhuli and a motorbike in Chitwan district were also vandalised today.
