BAJURA: Service seekers have been affected as the District Development Committee Bajura sans staffers, sources said today.

Office work has been affected as Local Development Officer Ganesh Khadka, account assistants Gajendra Khatri and Purna Jaishi and chief of project department Bharat Bahadur Singh are on leave. Service seekers lamented that they have not been able to get the service from the office due to the absence of the required staffers.

Laxman Rawal, chairman, Dab Khaptad Tour-ism Road said he had come to take the money meant for the road construction but failed to get it due to the absence of staffers. Executive secretary of the Local Development Fund Nir Shahi informed that the works under the fund could not managed due to the lack of staffers at the DDC.

Acting LDO Jagat Thapa informed that the problem was because the account assistants who have been given the responsibility of the account department are absent. According to him service seekers of about five to six developmental projects have visited the office asking for fund release.
