School tense for two days

TAPLEJUNG: Mouwa Khola Higher Secondary School at Tembe in Taplejung's Dhungesangu VDC has remained tense for the last two days.

A minor incident between a teacher and a student has led to clashes among the students. According to Parshu Thopra, chairman of the school management committee, the students were enraged when teacher Jhanalal Tembe forced tenth grader Tek Bahadur Limbu out of the classroom for walking in and out frequently.

Mingma Sherpa and Sagar Limbu were injured when UML-aligned and Maoist-aligned students clashed on Tuesday.
