SAPTARI: Politburo member of the UCPN (Maoist) and In-charge of Mithila State Committee, Bishwonath Sah has said that Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai will not resign at present despite opposition parties' demand.
Talking to RSS, Sah stressed the formation of a consensus government under the leadership of the Prime Minister and added that efforts were underway for the same.
Leader Sah has arrived Saptari today to attend a party meeting in Saptari.
He added that Prime Minister Bhattarai will not resign immediately at the call of opposition parties. He also urged all political parties to participate in the Constituent Assembly elections scheduled for November 22.
Saying that the CA was dismissed due to the Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML, Sah expressed confidence that the NC and UML will agree on federalism with identity.
Stressing that the new constitution based on federalism with identity should be made, he requested the party's dissident faction led by Vice-chairman Mohan Baidya to put their views in the party.
