SSP recalled on charge of misdemeanour

KATHMANDU: The Armed Police Force on Monday recalled SSP Ravi Thapa Chhetri from Far Western Regional Headquarters in Kailali to carry out further investigation into his misbehaviour with a woman. According to a source at APF Headquarters, SSP Chhetri is facing charge of barging into a house in Attariya, Kaiali, on Thursday and misbehaving with a woman who was alone in the house. The woman, whose identity was not revealed, had filed an FIR categorically charging SSP Chhetri with misbehaviour. “Chhetri has been recalled as part of departmental action. He will be liable to punishment if found guilty,” informed the source.
