SSP enforced in Bhaktapur

BHAKTAPUR: Keeping in view the potential growth of criminal activities in Dashain, Metropolitan Police Sector (MPS), Bhaktapur has enforced recently introduced the Special Security Plans (SSP) in the Valley district Monday onwards.
Puspa Chandra Ranjit, SP at MPS-Bhaktapur said that
During the Dashain, the security personnel would be patrolling on motorcycle in four different parts of the districts, informed Puspa Chandra Ranjit, SP at MPS-Bhaktapur.
"We have mobilized a thick network of security personnel to control the potential crimes in the districts," SP Ranjit said.
Taking a cue from last year’s experience of having had more frequent cases of thefts in gold shops and busy markets, MPS-Bhaktapur would specifically concentrate on those areas, he added.

Good, keep it up all year round, not just dashain. The whole protection starts when individual low-level police officers are given responsibility, accountability and an ability to take the offenders to the court within 24 hours. Then there would be no place for political protection, as the offender is behind bars before the politician even gets to know about their offence. Ribon, ktm | Report Abuse
