BIRATNAGAR: Acting Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (SC), Damodar Prasad Sharma, has said the reconciliation concept introduced by the SC has been an integral part of the SC.
Inaugurating an interaction organized by the SC here Friday, he said the judiciary should pay attention to the reconciliation as every case lodged in the court has the possibility of reconciliation.
He said the SC is preparing to broaden the approach of reconciliation of issues filed at the court related to the civil case.
He said the SC also should take initiative for reconciliation in the criminal cases as well.
Also speaking at the programme, Justice of SC and coordinator of the Reconciliation Center, Brish Chandra Lal said some problems were created as the government failed to implement the Reconciliation Act.
Chief Judge of Appellate Court, Biratnagar, Gopal Prasad Parajuli, member of the Judicial Council, Khem Narayan Dhungana and others expressed confidence that the reconciliation approach would help maintain peace in the society and also save time and money.
A total of 100 participants including judges, legal practitioners and officials, among others were present at the programme.

I am confused here as defition of 'political' and non-political cases are not understood clearly! It can be interpretated as per the conviniences.whose conviniences? Left to anybody's corrupted imaginations with... gaunle, xxx
