Rukum locals build own hydro project

Around 200 households of the VDC have been provided with electricity after the completion of the project.
RUKUM: Locals at Garayala VDC in Rukum district constructed a micro hydropower project with five kilowatt of power. Around 200 households of the VDC have been provided with electricity after the completion of the project.
Majority of the families have contributed donation of around Rs 2.7 million. Prior to this, the villagers frequently had visited the officials to manage a fund for the construction of the project.
