KATHMANDU: Cristiano Ronaldo has done it again.

With a 79th-minute goal by Portugal’s Ronaldo over Czech Republic in Warsaw on Friday, Portugal has entered in Euro 2012 Semifinals.

Actually, it was an excellent diving header from 10 yards, over Moutinho's right-wing cross,which helped Portugal to make 1-0 win against the Czech in the first Euro 2012 quarter-final.

Since then, Ronaldo had already hit the Czech’s goal-post twice.

It was Ronaldo's third goal of the tournament.




About Czechs, there were several fine saves from goalkeeper Petr Cech before the all out striker Ronaldo powered home a fine header.


The Czech's captain Tomas Rosicky, also the Arsenal midfielder, couldnot play as he had sustained Achilles injury .




The former World Player of the Year Ronaldo had his double in a 2-1 win against the Netherlands earlier during the tournament.

Portugal,which made 20 efforts at goal today ( with Ronaldo hitting the post twice till he scored 1) is now only one game away from reaching into the final of Euro 2012.

Portugal will play either against Spain or France in the semifinals slated for next Wednesday.
