PARSA: The Sirsiya of Parsa district based the first dry port Customs Office of Nepal has collected eight percent revenue more than the target given to the office for the fiscal year 2067/069.
The office had the target of Rs. 7.46 billion for the last fiscal year but crossed the target by Rs. 652 million collecting Rs. 8.11 billion, according to the Chief Customs Officer Narayan Prasad Sharma of the office. It is 8 percent more than the target which is 33 percent more revenue collection than the last fiscal year, he said.
He said the revenue collection was increased as the import of iron from India and import of alcoholic drinks from second and third countries through the border point was increased, said Sharma.
