KATHMANDU: Noted radio anchor Mira Acharya, also the wife of popular Nepali comedian Hari Bansha Acharya, passed away at the Kathmandu Model Hospital in the Capital on Wednesday morning. She was 46.
Narendra Kansakar, the manager of Maha Jodi, confirmed of her death.
Acharya, who hosted programmes for different radio stations including the state-owned Radio Nepal had been admitted to the hospital Sunday evening following a brain stroke.
She had heart condition for a long period.
She is survived by her husband Hari Bansha and two sons.
