Radhika who bore quadruplets‚ has only two babies now

KATHMANDU: Two among the four babies delivered at the same time from the same pregnancy at Mission hospital in Tansen, Palpa, died on Sunday.
They were said to be fragile in condition following the delivery.
Radhika Bhattarai who hails from Baughagumha-3, of Chelung in Palpa on Saturday evening had given birth to three baby boys and a girl.
Bhattarai, whose husband Krishna Prasad is in Kuwait in the case of foreign employment, had given birth to quadruplets at 7:22 pm, 7: 26pm, 7:27 pm, and 7:28 pm respectively.
Doctors at the hospital characterized the incident as “not commonly encountered” and believed that the incident is probably the first in the country.
Mission Hospital had already witnessed the birth of triplets prior this case.
