RDB officer dies after road accident

NEPALGUNJ: Assistant Officer of the Rural Development Bank (RDB), Nepalgunj, who was injured in a road accident at Gabhar road section of Khaskushma VDC in Banke district on Thursday evening, died this morning while undergoing treatment at Kohalpur Teaching Hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Kumar Pokhrel of Dang district.
According to the Area Police Office, Kohalpur, the accident took place while a jeep was heading towards Nepalgunj from Dang district. Four persons were injured in the accident.
Seriously injured jeep driver Krishna Sunar and another Prakash KC are undergoing treatment in Lucknow, India and in Kathmandu respectively.
