TAULIHAWA: Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai’s political advisor Devendra Poudel today said that president was morally obliged to pass the budget bill.
Noting that president had saved Nepal from being blacklisted in the globe by passing two bills on property rectification, Poudel insisted that the incumbent government was constitutionally qualified, otherwise the president would not have earlier passed the bills by the government.
Poudel argued the president has no choice but to pass the budget bill. Addressing a press meet organised by Kapilbastu chapter of Journalists’ Union Revolutionary, Paudel warned that Prime Minister’s resignation before the political consensus would push the country into further crisis.
