Hundreds of telephone customers have been affected by the disruption of telephone services.

RUKUM: Telephone service in the Rukum district is cut off following the disruption of power supply.



The GSM, ADCL and Namaste telephone services distributed in the district headquarters, Khalanga, are cut off since Wednesday. The Nepal Telecom Office, Rukum stated that the ADSL telephone service is cut off after the disruption in power supply.



Similarly, the Skyphone and pre-paid telephone service has become irregular with the disruption of the power supply. The Skyphone service is disrupted as the solar battery of the Skyphone tower at local Ratmate could not be fully charged due to cloudy conditions and rain.


Hundreds of telephone customers have been affected by the disruption of telephone services. Similarly, journalists here are also facing problem filing news due to the disruption in the power supply, telephone and Internet and e-mail services.



Electricity supply has been disrupted here due to the blockage of the conduit bringing water to the powerhouse by a landslide.
