SUNDHULIMADHI; With the school leaving certificate examinations nearing, the three major political parties have finished divvying up the number of superintendents among them.
The exams are to start from March 24. Out of the 21 superintendents in the exam centres in Sindhuli, CPN-UML, Nepali Congress and UCPN-Maoist each picked their teachers for the posts today, which was subsequently approved by District Education Committee and Examination Coordination Committee. The parties had recommended seven candidates each from their sister organisations, All Nepal Teachers Association of UCPN-M, Nepal Teachers Association of Congress and Nepal National Teachers Association of UML.
“Our recommendation was passed,” said a member of the teachers association, adding they all had agreed not to participate in the exams if their recommendations were changed.
