Police seize 10 quintals marijuana from Parsa district

PARSA: Police arrested an Indian national and seized 10 quintals of marijuana from different areas of Parsa district.
A team of police led by inspector Mukti Narayan Chaudhary seized six quintals of marijuana from Nirmalbasti VDC this morning.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabindra KC said other smugglers have managed to escape from the scene though the police opened four rounds of fires.
Similarly, Mukhtar Azad was held with one quintal marijuana from Pasaunibhatha VDC of Parsa district last night. Likewise, 80 kilogram of marijuana was seized from Nichuta of the district.
Similarly, a separate team of the Armed Police Force seized two quintals marijuana from Janakitol of Parsa on Saturday morning.
