Police detain 7 with arms

BIRGUNJ: Police detained seven people with arms during a raid in Ghusakpur, Dostiya VDC, Rautahat on Sunday morning.

The detained have been identified as Punit Mukiya, Ranjit Mukiya, Kantha Kanu, Mohan Sah Kanu Ranjit, Mukiya Bin and Mithiya Devi, local residents of Rautahat. They were held with three rounds of revolver bullets.

According to the Area Police Office Rautahat, the locals had informed them on Saturday night about the sound of gunfire between two groups. The police added that further investigation is underway.
