Pistols confiscated from con man's house

KATHMANDU: Police said they found two pistols and ammunitions when they raided the Imadole-based house of Manoj Singh (40) on Saturday afternoon.
Singh, who fleeced a number of unemployed people of hefty cash with the promise of lucrative jobs at home and abroad, was arrested from Ranibari of Kathmandu on August 28.
He is currently in the custody for interrogation.
The weapons confiscated today include one Italian pistol, one Chinese pistol along with its two magazine, and one catridge for shotgun.
Earlier, police had seized a cache of passports, sharp weapons and copies of fake UK visa from Singh’s possession.
