PHALEBAS: A telemedicine centre has been brought into operation at Thanamaula VDC in the remote part of south Parbat district.
The telemedicine centre is established at the initiatives of the Char Bhanjyang Tamu Samaj, U.K. and with support from a U.K.-based charity.
The telemedicine centre has been established at a cost of six million rupees provided by a British donor couple – Lord Roger Swinfen and Mrs Patt Swinfen.
The Swinfen couple inaugurated the telecentre amidst a function on Thursday. It is stated that telemedicine services would be available at the centre from doctors from 65 countries.
