Palpa man bids to break Guinness record with 24 balls in one hand

PALPA: Narayan Timalsina (27) of Barangdi VDC-1, Palpa district has been

setting his sights on snagging an entry into the Guinness Book of World Records by holding 24 tennis balls on his right hand.

Timalsina said that the process has started.

In the programme organised by the Press Chautari Nepal Chapter in Tansen on Thursday, he held 24 tennis balls on his right hand for one-and-a-half minutes to register his name in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Timalsina said that he practiced for more than two years and was able to hold 24 balls in a single hand.

Earlier, a citizen from Italy had registered his name in the Guinness Book of World Records in the same category by holding 22 balls in a single hand.

Subsequently, Timalsina said that he is challenging his record by holding 24 balls in one hand.

Senior journalist Megh Raj Sharma, central member of Press Chautari Nepal Bhagwan Bhandari, central member of CPN-UML Thakur Gaire and Vice-Chairman of the UML Palpa Devi Prasad Basyal among others had extended best wishes to Timalsina.
