PM Bhattarai grieves over plane crash in Jomsom

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has expressed the feeling of intense sorrow over the crash of Agni Airline's Jomsom-bound 9N Air India Golf (AIG), which killed at least fifteen people on board on Monday morning.

Issuing a press statement today, he also expressed his condolences to the crash victims and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. Six passengers in the ill-fated plane were rescued.

Meanwhile, Nepali Congress (NC) has also expressed its condolence to the victims and sympathy to the grief-stricken families. 15 dead as Agni Air plane crashes in Jomsom

There were 16 Indian nationals, two Westerners and three crew members on board.

Issuing a press statement signed by NC leader Ram Chandra Paudel, NC has also demanded a probe into the tragedy.
